    Waterford Day

Today I went to Waterford in the south east of Ireland. Actually Frank and me we wanted to go to Waterford, but this guy forgot the day light saving time change. So I visited Waterford by myself. The bus ticket with Bus Eireann is EUR 23.50 day return  and the trip takes aprox. 2h.

Waterford is sooo boring. Here is nothing. It is grey, dirty and small. The highlight is the small shopping centre  in the middle of the town. I guess it used to be a nice town earlier, but actually it isn't nice anymore. Most of the shops and pubs are closed and in the small harbour lie only old rusted ships. Unfortunatly Waterford is to far from the see and any beautiful landscape.

I've had spent almost 3 hours there, thats enough ;). Before I forget Waterford is very famous for the Crystal Factory. It is affected by US tourists mostly.. I don't like it :-D.

OK, this was Waterford, I made some pictures anyway.

Dr Seuss - Horton Hears A Who

I saw this movie yesterday with some friends. Its not the best animation movie, but the animals are very cute. The best and funniest was "Katie" a kind of hedge-hog :-). Here is a compilation of her funniest scene. Be aware: Don't watch it, if you want to watch the movie!

Disappointed, Bad for Environment, St. Patrick's Day and Taiwan

Hey, a new entry after a long time :-) St. Patrick's Day is over and it was so disappointing! There was actually nothing on the streets in Cork, there were just a few huts with food and two or three street actors. It was not a real festival atmosphere. Maybe it was better in Dublin but for the third largest city in Ireland.. it was crap. I had to work on Monday and missed the parade but I saw pictures later and I missed nothing :-). I guess this was the first and last St. Patrick's Day in Ireland for me. Next year I celebrate in Germany or in the US again, it was better there :-D,

Yeah and shopping in Cork is a waste of time as well, so I booked a flight with Ryanair for EUR 8 (including any fees, charges and taxes) on the 3rd of April at 10a.m. and back on the same day at 9p.m. . I know its bad for the environment but I need some cloth for my vacation in may and with the bus to dublin its about 5 hours each way and it costs EUR 20 :-). I really try to improve myself! Shopping in Dublin is amazing and they have a lot of brands.

I've planned my trip to Taiwan a bit, because three weeks is not so much and I want to see everything. I want to go to a "hot spring" but someone said it's only in winter? Damn :D but I look forward to my HK trip with Renee! :) and the trip with Hui-jou to the "Sun Moon Lake" and a small Island. Hui-jou told me some fazing scooter stories, now I'm a bit frightened of driving a scooter in nan-tou puli. But I guess it's a great funny adventure :-D.

    Chocolate!!

My company or better the sports and social club within the company gave me my free Cadbury's easter egg (a "moro" filled egg). Damn its 2000 calories or so and its so yummi :-D.

If someone knows something, say it! :-D

Trip to Galway, Greyhound Race, Cliffs Of Moher..

A new entry for this cool blog :-D. I went to Galway with 2 friends this weekend. It was pretty cool. We rent a car on Friday night and left Cork on Saturday morning. It was raining during the drive but actually the weather was always perfect, it was just raining in the night or at time we were inside something :-D

Galway is a very nice city with a good nightlife, actually a bit better as Cork I guess. I liked it more. We believed the Lonely Planet and went to a restaurant in Galway for lunch and it was very good. Thats the first time, that the restaurant recommendation was ok, in Berlin and London it was always crap.

Later we went to the sea, and to a Greyhound Race. I lost 10 Euros, but it was very funny and there were some cute dogs :-). At 10pm or so, we went to an Indian restaurant, very tasty food!

On Saturday we visited the Cliffs of Moher, as you can see on the pictures. It was AMAZING! Damn high and there was a point "Don't go further" and everybody walked further. There were just a few meters to the ground and a woman slipped and was just one meter from the ground. Stupid tourists ;)

    Back from the mountain

Hey, I'm back from the mountain! I thought it is just a walk or a better hiking or so, but actually it was real mountain climbing. It was really exhausting and a bit dangerous at the end, because on the way down we ran into a heavy storm and the wind blows so fast.. but we are all still alive and actually we had a lot of fun. Here are some pictures:

To much slow motion and everything was already known from his other movie. And tomorrow is "Caramel" but all tickets are already sold, Fuc*!! :-D Nothing else happend.. I go to my english class in 5 minutes..
