yeah it's weekend, and it's raining GREAT! It's always raining when you have a free weekend. Anyway a friend of me and me (of course) we go to Midleton tomorrow. There is a whisky distillery and I had no Irish whisky since I'm hear. Tonight is a party in a pub in town, a girl from had her birthday on thuesday I think I check this out even if I don't like her (she's stupid :-D) but there are some other guys.. so maybe it's not so bad :-)

Once - Soundtrack: This is an amazing movie, playing in Dublin and very great music (made by the actors).

Bruce Springsteen - We shall overcome: I don't like Springsteen so much, it's not my taste of music but this album is fantastic. It's full with american folkmusic, I love it :)

And my favorite Japanes music in the moment is from "Emmie The Stripper". It's a very cool ska and rock compilation and Japanese sounds great.

So that's it for the moment. In a few minutes my pizza is ready, later is France vs. England and than the pub.

Today my colleagues and me, we went to the movies. We saw "Be Kind Rewind" with Jack Black and Mos Def. This was one of the funniest movies I ever saw in my live, I swear! Last time I laughed so much was in 2004 (I guess) in "Bad Santa". Short story: Black wants to destroy an electricity plant and got magnetized, after he came back to his friends video shop, called "Be Kind Rewind", he erased all video tapes. Now they start to make their own "Rush Hour" or "Ghostbusters" to keep the shop alive. It was unbelievable funny! :-D

Ah and we saw on Saturday "National Treasure". It was ok, good speed and action but it was almost the same like the first part of "National Treasure". So and next week there is the "French Film Festival" in Cork :-D

;) no there is nothing. I just moved to my new house in the city center, I really hated my old house with this five irish students. Nobody cleaned anything except me and the last two weeks where terrible. But now I live in nice house with 3 professionals from Sweden, France and one Irish. It's very cozy and I've a kingsize bed ;).

My trip tp London in two weeks is canceled because one of my colleagues is going to India for the next years, so he planed an "Irish Weekend". This means everybody who is interested, can go with him to hike the highest mountain in Ireland (1041m) and later of the day we're going to have dinner, looking for a nice B&B in Kilarny and on Sunday we want to make a beach walk. Sounds pretty interesting in my point of view and there are some cool people with us.

Tonight I'll go to the cinema with a colleague, there is National Treasure or Jumper on our list, we make the decision 5 minutes before :) and by the way, there are only 12 weeks left for my Taiwan trip ;)

 

 

 

Hey ho :-) It's official I fly to Taiwan on the 17th of Mai and come back at the 8th of June. So there is enough time, I hope, to see a lot and to meet my friends again. Hui-Jou sent me a youtube link with a very nice movie about Taiwan, my personal favorite is the "delicious cuisine" chapter ;)
