Plot
Ah-Zhou is short before to be discharged from the military service. One night he dreams that he find his classmate Cheng Shing-Shing dead at the beach. Furthermore one of his “colleagues” get crazy and escaped with a rifle out of the camp. Ah-Zhou and his friend Xiao-Guei get unexpected holidays to search for this guy. Before they start looking Ah-Zhou decide to look after is classmate, if she is really dead….

Well it is a nice and fresh movie, it’s nearly as good as Summers Tale but more dramatic. It’s definitly worth a look, the subtitles sometimes are a bit to fast but this could also be my fault ;).

for Christmas! Well since a couple days Ireland is in Christmas mood, that’s actually ok but there is something really nerving, let me call it abnormality. Hundreds of teens are now on to streets to collect money for asthma association, homeless people association etc. Even that is ok, but they stop you every 2 meters until you gave them money, then you get a sticker. Place it good viewable on your clothes or the game starts again.

I hope this terrible month will pass very soon. Well there is one good thing also, in Lidl they have German Christmas sweets.. hmm..schmatz.

Well it is 7:17am right now, it is Saturday and I’m at work. Great! Seems I’m the only one this morning, for all customers in chat support. Great job scheduling team! Sometimes I think something is wrong with this company, but I don’t care…only less than three month left for me :).

It’s almost December and I sit with my new MobileMe shirt on my desk and outside it’s around 11°. In Germany is snow I think. However I could sleep right now, but the first customer is already unnerving.

my external hard drive is broken… I hope it’s only the case and the controller and not the HDD itself. I’ve all my pictures on it and my music library. Damn it!

I found the first season in my flat mates DVD collection recently and the series is really great. I’m addicted right now and watch at least 2 episodes per day. I really can recommend this TV series, it’s one of the best I have seen so far. The pictures are stunning and the stories great. “Rome” should be the most expensive TV series so far and you see it in every episodes, it really looks like as that they have filmed everything in the real Rome. The DVD box is fantastic as well, you can turn on on-screen infos to all the ancient people, buildings and stories. It seems that the UK box (which I have, or better my flat mate) is uncut. It includes German audio and subtitles as well. The German box should be cut do to bloody scenes, but I think it’s not that much.

So if you have the opportunity to watch the episodes uncut, do it. It is really worth to watch it! More about the tv series on Wikipedia: “Rome“

Soon it’s Christmas again. I was never a fan of Christmas. Ok the presents and chocolate but the rest? I don’t really mind if it’s Christmas or not. Well I would like to spend time with my family during the time but the rest, Christmas tree and all this stuff, I really don’t need this.

Once, I think it’s 3 years ago maybe, my dream came true. My parents went to Egypt during this time and me and my sister we could do what we want ha ha. No tree or other stupid Christmas things. However this will be the second Christmas already I will not stay at home. But it’s ok. I will see my family in February for some days and then they come and visit me.

But there is one thing I like about Christmas, actually it’s more about the Winter: Snow! I like to play with my crazy dog in deep snow in the mountains. Maybe there is still snow in February, who knows?

This is my new blog. I was tired of the minimal customizing options in Live Spaces. A wordpress blog offers more opportunities. The design isn’t bad I think, maybe I change it later but for now it’s ok. Another cool feature is that every entry I’ll write, will appear as well on Live Spaces. That’s cool because some people will still visit my old blog maybe.

However, this new blog will focus on Taiwan. Why Taiwan? Cause I will move to Taiwan on the 2nd of March 2009. I will study Chinese at the Chinese Culture University in Taipei. I love Chinese but I never had the chance to learn it good, but now I have and I take it. I will live in Keelung (基隆市) which I think is one of the nicest cities in Taiwan.

As long I’m not in Taiwan I’m here in Cork City, Ireland working for Apple and saving cash for my adventure next year :). I’ve got my visa for Taiwan already (6 month visa, I’m very lucky), I bought my flight ticket (wasn’t cheap but it’s valid for one year) and my application at the university gone thru as well. So for me, the adventure can begin :).
