October 31 Halloween!? Today is Halloween and I don't care October 26 Just 4 month left for the next chapter in my lifeAs some people already know on the 3rd of march I'll fly to Taiwan. I'll start to learn Chinese at the Chinese Culture University in Taipei. I saved some cash to stay at least 10 month without a job, but I hope I'll have the oppurtunity to extend my stay. Chinese was always my favorite language and I started learning so many times but I couldn't use what I learned cause I always had Germans in my class and no Chinese friends. I like Taiwan very much, it's the best country so far, so what's better than study Chinese in Taiwan? I have a lot of friends so I'll use what I've learned everyday. I'll stay in Keelung, my favorite city, not so big and crowded as Taipei but still big;-). I received already the admission letter from the university, I'll apply for a visa soon and I'll buy my flight ticket next week. I found a year return ticket with china airlines non stop from Frankfurt to Taipei for € 1000,00, that's a fair price :-) that's all just for now :-) October 16 Recommendation I saw two Taiwanese films recently and I can recommend both of them. 1. Betelnut Beauty 檳榔西施 The movie is about a young couple - she is selling betelnut - he is trying to earn plenty of cash with robberies. I cannot write more without spoiling, but the movie is it worth to watch ;) Learn more here: http://www.filmsasia.net/gpage139.html ![]() 2. Summer's Tail 夏天的尾巴 This is a really nice film about friendship, romantic and growing up. The pictures as well as the story are very nice. Watch it! But this time I went to Sun Moon Lake and had the chance to have a look closer. It's really nice there. I met a nice Taiwanese couple, they explained me everything and later we had a nice tea ceremoney in of the hotels around this area. View on the Sun Moon Lake in Puli You will find more pictures in the photo gallery section, even the biggest spider I saw in my life!! It was really as big as my head (maybe a little smaller). Furthermore in Puli I met a nice family while I wanted to buy some tea. In Taiwan most shops are family runned. So the shops are usually in their living room. However, I miss my Taiwan view from Keelung Park to Keelung harbour You can find my new picture gallery here: http://nycalex.spaces.live.com/photos/cns!61712766637635A!2554/ October 01 it's almost overwell no entry for a long time, that's because I was busy and I had no internet connection...anyway I guess nobody care ha ha:-) hmmm on Sunday morning I have to catch the plan, shit...or I win in lottery before :-P however it was very nice again and I look forward to the next year :-) |
