January 29 Back from Dublin...Yeah, I'm back from Dublin. It was very cool! Dublin is a very nice city and in my point of view, much more better than Cork :) We (my colleague and me) spend the entire Saturday for shopping ;). Shopping in Ireland is very cool, cheap cloths and stuff... and you can shop very long in Dublin, they have so much stores there! Later we went to Temple Bar, it's a pub and bar district in the centre of Dublin. We passed 4 or 5 pubs and this was totally enough :-). On the next morning we went to the Guinness brewery! It's amazing! All full of multimedia stuff and the whole public part of the brewery is build like a Guinness Pint! At the top (120m) is a bar where you can get your free pint of Guinness.. but a Guinness at 10 am is not so enjoyable :-). All together it was a fulfilling weekend and now I look forward to fly to London at the end of February :-) January 20 The rough guide to Taiwan...arrived after 6 weeks from New Zealand and what I read is unbelievable :-) If a could, I would fly directly to Taipei in the next 30 minutes ;).. but I have to wait until June, July or August. .it depends on my manager. Snake blood, painful massages, three-storied highways, 4000m high mountains and scooter driving.. and the best Chinese food world wide.. I want it right now! ;). Renee, you have to show me how to handle a scooter, I count on you! ;) and Hui Jou wants to show me the country side and the beaches.. I'm in suspense ;) Next week I'm going to Dublin, to check out the Temple Bar district.;) Dublin should be one of the worst city's in Europe but the nightlife must be extraordinary, so I'm excited what my colleague and me have to expect :-). We fly for 2cents with Ryanair from Cork, thanks to Ryanair for the 2for1 offer!! ;) pictures will follow asap ;) |
